As I sit at my desk and look out at the blanket of snow and see that the temperature is stuck below freezing, I can't help but daydream about Samantha's recent trip to Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii. From the moment she touched down in paradise, I was getting reports from the front about how sublime the destination was, accompanied by pictures, one more stunning than the next. So, I wasn't surprised a couple of days ago when Andrew Harper named it the #1 Hideaway of the Year.
So while I am still at home drooling over the destination, I will let Samantha tell you in her own words -
An amazing week at the Four Seasons Sensei Lanai retreat in Hawaii! Definitely an all-time favorite and we will return. Lanai is a very unique, small island in Hawaii with no traffic lights - not built up at all. Sensei is built into the lush landscape and focuses on wellness with food by Nobu. It is tranquil and spectacular, for ages 16 and up, and you can have all types of vacations there - serene with fitness and yoga classes, relaxing by the salt water pool or in the natural hot springs, or more adventurous climbing the ropes course and using the e-bikes. There is a terrific 18-hole mini-golf course on the property along with horseback-riding and a spa which uses outdoor hales (unbelievable outdoor cabanas). You could also take the free shuttle over to Four Seasons Resort Lanai for the beach, snorkeling and tennis. I could go on!
In addition, Four Seasons provides free private charter service from Honolulu. Hawaii is a great destination right now because you feel so away but the logistics are easier than international requirements at the moment.
And, don't forget, that as a client of The Travel Fairy, you will benefit from our Preferred Partner status with Four Seasons, providing you with -
